In May 2011 the Alzheimer’s Australia national conference will be held in Queensland.
On behalf of the organising committee, I invite you to join us in Brisbane for a stimulating, thought-provoking event that promises to take a different view – a broader view – of dementia and its social, health and economic impact.
In Queensland we like to do things a little differently and the 2011 conference will develop this theme. We will explore new ideas and hear new speakers (including some from outside our immediate field) and take time to share stories and reflect, while remembering that the journey in and around dementia is unique for every person.
Between sessions we invite you to meet our exhibitors, catch up with colleagues, and enjoy Queensland hospitality at its best with our special conference dinner.
And when the proceedings are over, take a different view of our city and hinterland with a few days’ rest and recreation. Brisbane is a stylish, cosmopolitan yet friendly centre with plenty of options for cultural, sporting and shopping fun. For a different pace, Queensland offers beaches and islands, rainforest retreats and mountain villages, wine trails and walking tracks - all within easy commuting distance.
So what are you waiting for? Register your interest in the Alzheimer’s Australia 14th national conference today.
We’ll send you more information as it comes to hand and look forward to welcoming you soon.
