A lively, bustling city of 1.6 million people, Brisbane features all the requisite offerings of the nation's fastest growing capital: world-class facilities and ever-expanding infrastructure, and unparalleled support services. Couple these with truly delectable dining experiences, shopping strips fit for the fashion faithful, award-winning bars and nightclubs, and a sophisticated collection of artistic encounters and you have the ideal destination for business and leisure.

But there are things that set central Brisbane even further apart: year-round magnificent weather, the world's largest subtropical garden and Australia's only inner-city beach.

Ringing this dynamic city are trendy urban villages, quaint country townships, world heritage-listed rainforests and stunning island escapes - all a mere hour or so from Brisbane's CBD.

Brisbane is a compact, connected city, ideal for walking and getting around via the many scenic river and bridge walks. The city's efficient transport network makes it a breeze to find your way around.

The conference venue – Brisbane’s stunning Exhibition & Convention Centre is right at the heart of the city’s efficient transport network of buses, trains and taxis, with the domestic and international airports being only a 20-minute trip from the city.
