The conference theme for 2011 is Take a different view – a broader view – of dementia and its social, health and economic impact. - Where does dementia fit in the current health reforms?
- How inclusive is society of people with dementia (or other disabilities?)
- What needs to happen to improve the outcomes for people with dementia, their families and those who care for them?
Some of the following questions may also be relevant to your submission but are intended to stimulate your thinking, not restrict your approach.
- Why is my story different?
- What can I add to the body of knowledge, skill and experience around dementia?
- What am I doing differently that could be relevant to people with dementia or those who care for them?
- How can what I do/know be applied to other situations?
- What have I learned from my journey or experiences with dementia (or another condition)?
- What evidence or results can I share?
- How can my ideas and experiences help to reduce the impact of dementia for others?
- How can the impact of my ideas, programs or services be measured?
